Claire will cover the basic techniques required, health and safety and a brief explanation of what happens in the kiln.
Claire will then demonstrate a variety of techniques for you to decorate your items. These include painting with enamels, using murrine, handmade dots and frit. Or you can choose to create your own design using the materials provided.
All materials to complete this workshop will be provided.
After the workshop Claire will then fire your pieces in her glass kiln. The completed items will be available for collection, from Mrs I Crafts, approximately one week after the course.
Please wear appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes.
If you have long hair please bring a hair band to tie it back.
